When Piet arrived at his foster home he was tiny and cowering in his cage. With his unique eyes and tiny frame he was so adorable that his foster family reached in to pet him. Suddenly he hissed and lunged and immediately got the nickname “killer”. This is SO funny because in less than 24 hours he was purring, playing and begging for attention (and food!). He would be the first to come charging at any human coming in his room to rub up against legs looking up with his tiny face saying “look at me! Pick me up and give me love!” When new foster siblings entered his life he would not allow anyone to forget about him often nuzzling his way between them to make sure he was getting the most love. Petit Piet, as he is called, seems like he will always be small in stature but WOW the amount of love and affection and smiles he can put on your face is huge. And to think we thought he was going to be a tough “killer” boy is beyond funny now. He is used to lots of noise and lots of little kids. He’s so patient and has let the young girl in his foster family do fashion shoots with American girl doll berets and doll clothes all while loving the extra attention. Piet would do well in a lively, lovely family with other cats. He is an absolute gem of a kitten and both adopter and Piet will win in life picking him.
