Is is better to be Lucky or good?   A famous questions without an answer- until now!  Our Lucky says it is better to be both.   Lucky is an adult cat who is kitten-sized with kitten- energy.    He was found outside by a good Samaritan and found his way to POA, so he is Lucky indeed.   And he would want us to tell you that he is learning to be good.   Not that this little charmer was ever bad.   But when Lucky came to POA he had apparently not had many positive experiences with being handled  or picked up by people.   It frightened him and he would scramble away.   Fortunately, Lucky adores any kind of toys and play, is very smart, and is extremely treat motivated.  So Lucky is quickly learning that people bring his favorite things and that hands can be fun, gentle and loving.   With a little more time and positive reinforcement (maybe from you?) Lucky will be a purrfect angel.  And how Lucky is that?

Lucky is FIV positive, but that does not mean he cannot live long and happy life. Please click here for information on FIV.
