Shakespeare's Romeo was an impetuous youth, ready to live or die for love.  Our Romeo is a composed older gentleman; more George Clooney than teen heartthrob.  We understand why Romeo was given his name though; he is devastatingly handsome and very loving.  Romeo came to us when his person went into assisted living, and we think he would be an awesome match for an older person or couple.  Medium energy, Romeo is a true companion cat.   He likes to play a little, but is happiest just hanging out, getting petted and spoiled, or calmly watching birds from a sunny window.    Older cats can take longer to get adopted, but given his engaging personality and movie -star looks, we expect that Romeo will be the exception to that rule.  So if the photos this charismatic fellow have you wondering, "Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?"  dash down to POA and prepare to be lovestruck.
