Black cats tend to get overlooked.   Not all black cats, of course.   The tiny bubbly ones who reach out a paw to snag passing adopters and the long, lean, elegant house panthers, they get adopted quickly.  But the shyer black cats, the ones with gentle curves, the ones who sit in the back of that cat condo pretending to be invisible.   Well, as a rule, those black cats take take longer to find homes.   But rules are made to be broken and we hope that someone will break the rules for Dahlia.    Dahlia's fur is silky soft sable, her eyes are bright and curious.  She is nervous at the shelter but does not seem to have an ounce of aggression.   Pet her and she will slowly relax into your hand, closing her eyes, with a small sigh.  We see you, Dahlia.  You are not invisible.  You are lovely.  And you are loved.  If you think that you might love Dahlia, please come in and say hello.
