Is she in there ? You wonder as you look into Ophelia's condo. There, but hidden way towards the back, she is still very nervous. Most of the cats are when they get here. But some take longer to warm up than others. Ophelia's eyes are bright and clear..they are pretty much all you can see of her. Wide, soft yellow eyes of a cat that wants to be stronger than she is right now. Maybe it is the tragic name..that certainly cannot help the situation you think to yourself . Until...you find out that Ophelia is the Greek word for help and it seems to fit. She absolutely needs our help after all...to be the brave, happy and affectionate cat we know she is. She needs our help finding that person that will make her want to come out from the shadows of her cage, stretch out those paws that have been curled up tightly underneath her and let out a happy sigh of relief. Maybe you feel a bit like Ophelia sometimes...who doesn't, really. Maybe you need Ophelia just as much as she needs you. Why wait? Come meet this sweet , shy girl today.
