Featured Cat of the Week - Thomas

Thomas is a 5-6 year old, neutered, gray tiger, male, DSH. Thomas is very handsome and very gentle. He loves people and all animals (cats and dogs). He loves to be pet and likes being held and brushed. He has just a wonderful temperment.

 

 

 

Spot

Spot is a 6 1/2 year old, neutered, white and black, male, DSH. Spot is just a big hunk of love. He immediately warms up to people. He loves being petted and all the attention you can give him. He’ll come running over to you if you call him. He will walk right by your side when you are walking. I think he’s part cat/part dog. And don’t let his size fool you, he loves to play. And he gets along with other cats. He is FIV+ and can live happily with FIV- cats as long as everyone gets along well and he is fed a good quality diet.

Leonardo

Leonardo is a 1 year old, neutered, black, male, DSH. Leonardo has the silkiest black fur you have ever felt! Of course, he loves to be petted, especially on his head and neck. He is a friendly boy that would be so much happier in a home. He would be happiest in a calm home where he can be the center of attention and curl up on the couch with you!

Angel

Angel is a 1 year old, spayed, black and white, female, DLH. Angel’s name fits her perfectly. Her fur is soft as silk. And she has the personality of an angel. She is very sweet and loves being pet. She has one white front leg and one black front leg and two white paws – just adorable. Angel loves people and other cats.

Chiquita

Chiquita is a 1 year old, spayed, white, female, DSH. Chaquita is a beautiful all white cat. She has nice thick fur that your fingers sink into. She loves to be petted and is very friendly.

Negtrita

Negtrita is a 7 year old, spayed, black, female, DSH. Negtrita is a sweetheart. She is quiet and calm and gentle. She is very affectionate. She loves to be petted and will purr once you do start petting her.

Nala

Nala is a , spayed, black and white, female, DLH. Nala is just a bundle of love. She is extremely friendly and affectionate. She starts purring the minute you start petting her. While you are petting her, she will roll over on her back or push her head into your hand. She is most loving and gets along well with other cats.

Mabry is a 2-3 year old, spayed, black, female, DSH. Mabry just had a litter of 6 kittens a couple of months back. She was an excellent mom. That’s because she has a very easy going temperment. She’s friendly, likes other cats and likes people. She loves being petted and getting attention. It’s time for someone to take care of Mabry as well as she took care of her kittens.

Irma

Irma is a 9 month old, black , female, spayed, DSH. Irma is a lovely little girl. She takes a little time to warm up but once she does, she’s a real love. She will sit in your lap and give you head buts.

Raphael

Raphael is a 1 year old, neutered, black, male, DMH. Raphael is a handsome, quiet boy. He is on the shy side but very affectionate and sweet

Slinky

Slinky is a 1 1/2 year old, neutered, white, male, DSH. Slinky was abandoned at a local veterinary hospital and everyone there just fell in love with him! He is all white and so handsome! His personality matches his good looks too. He’s very mellow and sweet and wants as much attention and affection as you can give him. He seems to get along with the other cats in the shelter but his main focus is anyone who will rub his head and offer him a lap. He can be held and kissed too! Don’t you just want to bring him home?

Tango

Tango is a DSH, neutered, male orange tabby. This guy is just a big hunk of cat- love. Tango is sweet, talkative and wonderfully affectionate. He is waiting patiently for someone to offer him a couch and some love and attention! Tango is a gentle giant orange boy – how can you resist?

Desi

DESI is a DSH, spayed, female pastel tortie, and is approximately 8 years old. Desi was adopted from POA in October of 2004 and recently returned to us when her owner passed away. She is looking for her next forever home. Desi is best suited for a home without children or other cats, as she is used to be an only cat in a quiet home. She will make any person a wonderful, loving companion.

Audrey

Audrey is a one year old, spayed, black and white, DSH, female. Audrey is a sweet little lady! She was recently rescued and is still a little nervous with new people, but if you give her some time, she'll show you what a goofball she really is! She would not do well with young children, but would do really well in a calm household where she can romp and play and get all the attention she demands! She likes other cats, especially the boys - her foster mother says she's a bit of a flirt! Audrey is hoping for someone to give her a new forever home soon!

Nicky

Nicky is a 5 year old, neutered, gray, male, DSH. Nicky is just as friendly as he is handsome. He is playful and not shy at all. He gets along well with other cats and plays with other cats. He was in a fosterhome with other cats, and he does like to be king. He can sometimes get a little rambunchous. He will not hide from people or other animals. Nicky will come and find you when he wants to play. He loves being petted and being with the people he loves.

Morgan

Morgan is a 4 year old, DSH, neutered, gray tabby, male. Morgan is with us because his human companion was placed in a nursing home and Morgan couldn’t go with her. He is a handsome young boy with so much love to give! He can’t get enough attention and demands that he be the apple of your eye. He needs to be the only cat in the house because he really does not want to share the love! He loves is when you talk to him and looks you in the eye, like he understands! He is not happy in our shelter, so he is counting the days until someone can give him his next, furr-ever home! He will make a wonderful best friend.

Meena

Meena is a 10 month old, spayed, DSH brown tiger, female. Meena is so very friendly! She loves to play and has that wonderful “friskiness” of a kitten, that’s for sure! She reaches out for love and can’t wait for you to rub her head. She loves attention and wants all the love you’ve got. She would be a fantastic addition to your home and will follow you around the house waiting for your attention!

Junebug

Junebug is a 10 month old, spayed, brown tiger, female, DSH. Junebug is just an adorable, sweet, little girl. She purrs like a motorboat, loves people, and would make a great couch companion. She does not like to be picked up, but what cat does? But her favorite place is next to you or on your lap. She’ll always be around, purring, and waiting for you to shower her with love!

Cruiser

Cruiser is a 1 year old, neutered, white and black, male, DSH. Cruiser is a little cutie. He is sweet and loves being petted. When you pet him, he rolls over on his back and purrs. He is a little chatty, he talks to you when you go near him as if to say "Please come pet me".

Boots

Boots is a 2 year old, DSH, Black and White, neutered male.  What a great and loving boy!  Boots was found as a stray after someone moved and left him behind.  He gets along well with other cats and kittens, and has a sweet and docile personality.  He is waiting for someone to give him a forever home where he can shower someone with love and affection!  A nice lap and a window is all he needs to be happy - what a great addition to your home!

Smokey

Smokey is a 3 year old, neutered, gray, male, DSH. Smokey lived in a great home for 3 years. Unfortunately, now a child in the house is allergic to him. He is a wonderful cat with a thick, beautiful gray coat. And such a warm personality. He loves to be petted and purrs a lot. He is just a good, good boy. He is FIV+ and can live happily with FIV- cats as long as everyone gets along well and he is fed a good quality diet.

Missy

Missy is a 2 year old, spayed, white, female, DSH. Missy has a cute gray spot right on top of her head. And she has the most beautiful blue eyes. She is bright eyed and friendly and loving and loves attention. She loves you right back.

Pussywillow

Pussywillow is a , spayed, calico, female, DSH. Pussywillow has a sweet face, beautiful calico spots, and soft – soft fur. She loves to be petted. She’s not quite ready for adoption today but she will be very soon.

Whiskers

Whiskers is a neutered, black and white, male, DLH. What a beautiful, beautiful cat Whiskers is. Not only is he good looking, he is a very friendly cat that loves people and loves to be petted.
