Featured Cat of the Week - Sarah Jane

Georgia

Georgia is a 1 ½ -2 year old, spayed, female, White with Gray, DSH. Georgia is just like a Georgia Peach.  She is soft, and sweet, and loveable. She has thick fur that your fingers just sink into. She loves being petted, especially on her cheek.

Camille

Camille is a 1 year old, spayed, torbie, female, DSH. Camille was found as a stray mom with her kittens. She is a very affectionate, friendly, adorable, petite little girl.

Princess

Princess is a 5 year old. Spayed, brown and white tiger.  Princess was previously in a home and has been with us for a while,  waiting patiently for someone to once again, give her a couch and comfort.  Princess has been kind of unhappy at the shelter, but she has come out of her shell a lot and is showing her true colors. She has started playing with toys (i.e. laser light) and loves to play with the water in the sink. She is a great companion waiting for someone to love!

Corey

Corey is a 1 1/2 year old, neutered, gray and white, male, DSH. Corey was found as a stray and is now with us waiting for his chance at a home.  He was previously living in a home with cats and dogs and did well with both.  He enjoys companionship and will keep you company on the couch.  His look will steal your heart and his eyes just say “take me home”!  He’ll love you forever and you’ll love him the second you meet him.

Jenny

Jenny is a 4 year old, spayed, white with gray spot on head, female, DSH. Jenny is a very pretty young lady.  She was born to a stray and is friendly as can be.  She is a little uncomfortable with shelter life and would like a new home soon.

Dolly Marten

Dolly Marten is a 1 year old, spayed, black, female, DSH. Dolly is a sleek, pretty girl. She is a good girl who has been living with her older kitten. 

TANIS

Tanis is an 8 month old, spayed, Black, female, DMH. Tanis is a very active cat. She loved to play with the older cats at her foster home. They all got along well.  She still has that kitten energy. And she loves people too. She loves being petted. Tanis is just a perfect cat for anyone.

Peyton

Peyton is a 5 year old, spayed, Brown Tiger, female, DLH. Shelby came to the shelter with her sister Shelby. Peyton does not mind shelter life as much as Shelby. She is a little more independent but still very attached to Shelby.  It would be wonderful if they found a fur-ever home together.

Stevie

Stevie  is a 4 year old, neutered, Orange Tabby, male, DSH. Stevie is a good boy. He is all boy. He likes people very much. He also likes being petted. Stevie has adorable white feet and a white chest. Stevie is FIV+. Please see info.

Cynthia

Cynthia is 1 1/2 year old, spayed, Black, female, DSH. Cynthia is a very affectionate cat.  She loves being petted. She may do best as an only cat, she seems to be more found of people than other cats. Cynthia is a special needs cat as she does tend to form crystals in her urine and will need to eat a special diet of either CD or SO food. This is the only special care she needs. A small price to pay for a wonderful cat.

Ivan

Ivan is a 1 year old, neutered, gray and white, male, DSH. Ivan is truly a handsome big boy.  He loves affection, very friendly, double pawed on all 4, very playful and insists on your undivided attention.  He is a talker and loves to engage ina conversation and clearly he has a lot to say.  In short, he is a love bug and a great companion.  He is special needs due to forming crystals in his urine.  The only thing he needs for this is a special diet.

Big Red

Big Red is a 4 year old, neutered, Orange Tabby & White, male, DSH. Big Red gets along with other cats, is mellow and a real couch potato (cat).

Flopsy

Flopsy is an 4 year old, spayed, Black and White, female, DSH. Flopsy loves attention. She purrs up a storm. And follows you around and just flops right next to you.

Slippers

Slippers is a spayed, female, Black, DSH.  Slippers is a very nice lap cat. She is very affectionate and adores attention. When you pet her she just rolls over and rubs righ into your hand. Slippers is a calm little girl and would do best in a calm household.

Danielle

Danielle is a 1 ½  year old, spayed, female, Black and White, DSH. Danielle is a great little girl who loves petting, loves to be scratched under her chin and on her cheeks, and will follow you everywhere.

Puff

Puff is a 9 month old, spayed, female, Gray Tabby, DLH. Puff is just a little sweet pea. She is soft, and cute, and loveable. she is friendly, sweet natured, and very playful.

Annie

Annie is a 2 ½ year old, spayed, Calico, female, DSH. Annie is very affectionate and playful. She enjoys human companionship. She’ll just curl right up in your lap. She especially loves chin and neck rubs.

Trixie

Trixie is a 6 month old, spayed, female, Black and White, DSH. Trixie is just a bright eyed and busy tailed little one. She is always alert and checking everything out. She will sleep quietly when you are away and play with you when you are home. She is quite the talker. And she has front wheel drive (double paws in the front).

Nala

Nala is a 3 year old, spayed, female,Calico, DSH. Nala loves attention. She enjoys having her cheeks pet. Her fur is short but thick so your fingers just sink into it. She is a lovely girl.

Sabrina

Sabrina is a 6 month spayed, female, Tortie, DSH.  Sabrina is made for a comfy home. She loves to sleep on a couch or bed. She is really a big napper. Sabrina is well behaved, loves to play with toys, and loves to play with her kitty pal.

Tiffany

Tiffany is a 1 ½ year old spayed, female, Whit and Black, DSH.  Tiffany is super sweet and affectionate. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is very good with children but she’s not too fond of other cats. Tiffany is FIV+. Please see info.

Splash

Splash is a 10 year old, spayed, Tortie, female, DSH. Splash was abandoned due to foreclosure. She came from a good home. She is very loving and sweet and has been since the day she arrived at the shelter. She loves people and loves being petted.

Sampson

Sampson is a 9 year old, neutered, Red Tabby, male, DLH. Sampson is a wonderful name for this cat. He is so regal and stoic looking. He was abandoned on a porch of a Tolland resident. He is very friendly, gentle and laid back. He just wants a good life, loving his new family. He is a handsome and wonderful guy.

Pandora

Pandora is a 7 month old, neutered, Black and White, male, DSH. Pandora and Jag are brothers. They have been living in a foster home since they were tiny kittens.  They are quite calm. They are looking for their furever home which would also be calm and quiet.

Jag is a 7 month old, neutered, Black, male, DSH. Jag and Pandora are brothers. They have been living in a foster home since they were tiny kittens.  They are quite calm. They are looking for their furever home which would also be calm and quiet.

Yvette

Yvette is a 7 year old, spayed, female, Dark Tortie, DSH. Yvette was found as a stray. She is quite happy to be inside. She is a very sweet girl.

Minuchka

Minuchka is a 1 year old, spayed, Dilute Tortie, female, DSH. What a little cutie Minuchka is. And what big, round eyes she has. Minuchka is a very friendly, nice, girl.

Scooty Boy

Scooty Boy is a 6 month old, neutered, Black and White, male, DSH. He has a little more white on his face than Agatha.

Agatha is a 6 month old, spayed, Black and white, female, DSH.

Scooty Boy  and Agatha are brother and sister. They were born to a stray. They are very friendly and sweet tempered. They love to cuddle with each other but, they do not have to go to a home together. They will be just fine on their own.

Noah

Noah is a 4 ½ year old neutered, male, Black, DSH.  Noah is a big boy with a big heart. He is gentle and loving.  He rolls over and purrs when you pet him.  He was adopted from POA before but his owners just passed away.  He is a good boy looking for a good home he can say is his forever.

Tika

Tika is a 6 ½ year old, spayed, tiger and white, female, DSH. Tika came from a good home. Her owner was unable to care for her anymore, so she is staying with us. She is a very sweet and loving cat. She doesn’t really like to be picked up but she will sit on your lap and is very playful.

Tippy

Tippy is a 6 month old, neutered, male, Black and White, DSH. Tippy is just full of energy. He can’t see enough, quick enough. He is a very friendly, sweet natured and affectionate little guy. He loves petting and cuddling. He purrs enthusiastically. Tippy is very active and playful but there is always time for lap sitting.
