Meet Sergei!
This is Sergei. He is a 4 year old Shih Tzu and is very sweet. When he was rescued, it was painfully obvious how neglected little Sergei had been for what was likely several years - his coat was so severely dirty and matted that we were unable to tell what breed or gender he was. After grooming and lots of TLC, Sergei is enjoying life as a dog should! He is learning to play with toys and has been coming out of his shell more every day, seeking out attention and love. He can be a bit nervous so an adult home would be best for him. Sergei does not seem to mind the other dogs at the shelter - he may consider sharing a home with another canine companion.
