Abigail G. Jackson serves as the Associate Director of Alumni Relations for the University of Connecticut School of Social Work through the University of Connecticut Foundation. She’s a native of Atlanta, Georgia and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts: Public Relations from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before joining the UConn Foundation in 2018, she served two terms with AmeriCorps VISTA, and worked with the United Way of Greater Atlanta. In her current role, she created and produces the #ThisIsAmerica social justice education series in collaboration with the Social Justice Workgroup. Abigail (AJ) is most passionate about using strategic development tactics to drive organizational and human capital capacity building while serving a mission that positively impacts community and child well-being. AJ joined the Board of Directors in November 2021. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her pets, Kobe and Sebastian. Both were adopted, Sebastian from POA.
