She is feisty…she is independent…a little spitfire. Angelina has “catitude”. She is also soft , on the inside and out. She has hope in her pretty green eyes …and a spark! This small, sleek, golden cat has been through a lot. Abandoned outside, we imagine that is when she started to draw on her bold side. It was for survival of course. And she did it..she survived! She came to POA and was in a wonderful foster home. A place that she could feel safe and loved and be her easier going , sweet self. Back now at the shelter for adoption , Angelina is uncomfortable again. There are cats everywhere and she prefers to enjoy her own personal space. So she finds it difficult to let that gentle side out much of the time and puts her boundaries up. We all know how that feels. To be somewhere that we just don’t feel like ourselves and we all deal with it in different ways. Angelina wakes up every morning in a place where, while safe and loved… it is just not for her. So every day she puts on her brave face and her sassy pants , it’s just easier for her. And , at night , she curls up and dreams of a home of her very own where she can let her guard down and be the cat she truly is. Angelina…listen to the words of a very wise, confident woman…Lizzo.
