A picture is worth a thousand words. Especially a picture of Butter, an absolutely adorable young cat available for adoption at Protectors of Animals.
But we probably do need to say a few words about Butter. He loves people and is extremely affectionate, purring as soon as you touch him. He is a total charmer. However, Butter was born in a basement and spent most of his short life there. Everything is new and kind of scary for him. He will need to be kept in one room with limited hiding places because Butter WILL hide. It may be weeks or even a month or two before Butter can be out in the house.
In addition, Butter must go home with another cat or kitten or to a home with another friendly cat or kitten. He is not well suited to be your one and only cat. He loves other cats and he is learning how to be a confident cat. A buddy is essential.
Finally, Butter’s person will need to have plenty of time in the next few weeks to reassure him, play with him, cuddle him and let him know that he is going to spend the rest of his life playing in sunbeams.
