“It is a happy talent to know how to play.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
If Emerson was right that play is a talent, then lovely Chloe is a very talented cat. Her favorite thing in this world is to play. A wand toy is a delight; a stuffed toy is a joy; and a stuffed toy that dangles from a wand is nothing short of sheer ecstasy. If you want to win Chloe's heart, bring out the toys and let her revel in playtime.
Chloe is an independent girl who has definite preferences. If you overstep her boundaries, she'll let you know in a firm but polite way. While she'll permit some brief and gentle petting on her head, here at the shelter she has not been the type to snuggle in a lap for hours. In fact, if you didn't know better, you might think she was a classic British matron, prim and proper, insisting on decorum. But all you have to do is bring out the playthings, and all that propriety flies right out the window as Chloe bats and grabs and chews on her beloved toys.
Our best guess is that Chloe is four years old. We know she's FIV positive, but this doesn't mean she can't live a long and happy life. We also think she'd be happiest in a household with older children or even all adults. She would like to be your spoiled darling.
If you're seeking a companion who believes in rollicking playtimes and still allowing everybody their personal space, Chloe may be just the girl for you.
Chloe is FIV positive, but that does not mean they cannot live long and happy life. Please click here for information on FIV.
