Looking for a cat that likes other cats? Meet Dakota!

Not yet a year old, beautiful Dakota was found living in a small feral cat colony. Now safe and happy in one of our amazing foster homes, Dakota is learning about the wonders of feather toys and naps on the couch. Dakota loves the other cats in the foster home. Dakota finds comfort in having older cats around. She takes to other cats quickly and they help her feel safe. Going to a home with a friendly cat who can teach her how to be a happy house cat will be important for Dakota.

Dakota will take a little longer to warm up to her human companions. She is shy, still figuring out that people are safe. She will need a person with some experience with shy cats, who is willing to work with her. It will take time for Dakota to trust, but she will get there. And Dakota is so worth it!

Dakota is very quirky and makes the most adorable sounds! When she is excited or perks up she will always let out a chirp! She can get quite vocal at times! And she is a bit of a night owl! Like most teenagers she likes to party all night and sleep all day! You may hear her at night batting around some toys and then find her snuggling a stuffy in the morning snoozing away. Dakota also has a very sweet temperament and is very easy going. So if you are comfortable working with a shyer cat and looking to add a fur sibling to your current kitty family, Dakota might be the perfect kitty for you!
