Some people refer to Lacey's gorgeous coloring as “muted calico.” Maybe so, but trust us: the only thing about Lacey that is “muted” is her coloring.
Barely more than a kitten, Lacey is a girl who knows what she wants—and what she wants is a loving person who will fuss over her, play with her, and cuddle her. Simply put, Lacey loves to be loved. Come near her, and she'll call out to you. Reach out to her, and she'll lick your hands. Pet her, and she'll purr as if you're giving her the best gift in the world—because in her opinion, you are.
You see, Lacey knows what it's like to be on her own. It's a story we hear all too often—people moving away and leaving their pets behind to fend for themselves. We don't understand it, but it happens. In Lacey's case, she was found alone in an apartment after her owners left. Remarkably, though, this little sweetheart isn't bitter or distrustful. Her heart is full of kitten love and joy, and she's ready to embrace someone kind and loving and trustworthy.
Lacey loves to cuddle and play. Wand toys and laser lights delight her, but most of all, she wants to be loved. If you have kids or cats, that's fine with Lacey. (At this point, we don't know what she thinks of dogs.) What Lacey wants most is a loving forever home with people who will cherish her, fuss over her, play with her, and never, ever leave her. If you can offer this, Lacey would like to meet you.
