Peaches

Name: Peaches

Age: 10 years

Breed: DSH Dilute Calico

Sex: Female

Peaches has a mind of her own, and no mistake about it. If she’s in an unfamiliar place and she doesn’t know you yet, she’s likely to shoo you away until she decides you’re trustworthy. After you pass muster, though . . . be prepared to be adored by this beautiful pastel tortie.

When you first meet Peaches, she may initially hide her craving for affection under layers of aloofness. Once you prove yourself worthy of her trust, you will find yourself blessed with a marvelous and loving companion. Peaches’ favorite place will be wherever you are, even if that means cuddling under the covers with you at night. When morning dawns, she likes to watch as you go through your morning routine to ensure you’re doing everything right. Just make sure you let the faucet run a bit when you’re done, because that’s her favorite place to grab a drink.

Peaches is 10 years old, but you wouldn’t know it by her behavior. She loves to be kissed and held like a baby, and she adores giving licky-kisses. She’s been known to race around like a kooky kitten with a case of the zoomies. She’s also fond of climbing high on cat perches and gazing down at you. In her more mellow moments, she enjoys sitting by the window, watching the birds and making noises at them to encourage them to behave as she deems appropriate. (In case you haven’t figured it out by now, Peaches has strong opinions.) If you’re looking for a cat who is both snuggly and playful, Peaches is your girl.

Peaches will do best in a quiet adult household where she’s the only pet. The ideal companion for Peaches is someone patient who will let her set the pace as you get to know each other, knowing that this initial forbearance will be rewarded by a wealth of love and cuddles.
