Rhubarb

Six month old Rhubarb was found in a window well outside with her litter mate back in the spring.  Given her rough start she wasn’t sure how she felt about people and can be a little nervous at first around them.  However she is sure about one thing- Rhubarb loves other cats!  She starts every morning by running toward the meows of the resident kitties in her foster home and ends every afternoon napping next to them on the couch.  She definitely wants to live in a home with another kitty best friend or two.

With people Rhubarb can be more shy, but once given time to warm up she really enjoys getting lots of pets.  She likes to arch her back and when she’s excited she will even stand on her tip toes to reach for more.  She currently isn’t a fan of being picked up, but she recently tried sitting in her foster mom’s lap and would be open to trying that again in the future.  Rhubarb’s other favorite things are treats and playtime.  She turns into a wild child for the laser light and will run laps around the room trying to capture it until she plops over tired from her hunt.  And when the treats come out one must be careful not to leave them unattended as Rhubarb could pick up the bag and run away if you’re not looking!  Overall she will make a sweet and loving companion and cannot wait to meet her new family.
