This is Phil!

Meet Phil! He is a 5 year old Beagle and is hands-down the SWEETEST dog you will ever meet (not to mention the most handsome!). Phil suffered from gradual onset of paralysis to his back legs and his owners did not seek out aggressive medical intervention. Then one day, Phil found himself homeless, left at his vet office scheduled to be euthanized when his owners did not want to care for him any longer. One of our amazing fosters heard about his case and took him into her home.

Phil has been adapting incredibly well and so quickly, to his paralysis! He gets around inside and outside on his own easily without a wheelchair, even going down stairs (he needs some help going up them still!). He is doing great learning to motor around in his wheelchair as well! As far as Phil is concerned, there is nothing wrong with him!

Phil is extraordinarily sweet and pines for human affection and attention. If he could hang out with his family all day, that would make his heart leap with joy! Phil likes other dogs, but humans are his number one love. If you have room in your heart for this exceptional, gorgeous boy, please contact Michelle at
