Name: Regina

Age: About 4 months

Breed:  DSH Black

Sex:  Female

Reggie (Regina) has shown her foster family that patience pays off tenfold. She came to her foster home emaciated and terrified with her three siblings. Huddled together they feared the worst. Instead they were treated to soft cozy beds, clean water, endless food and lots of love and caring. Her brothers let their guard down first but then it was her time to shine. Instead of constantly running for cover she began to perch herself on the top levels of cat trees and is often found bathing in the sun by the window. The way to her heart and winning her trust is through slow and low movement (get down to her level). She purrs and even starts to chirp when she gets pet as if talking to you. She loves being softly spoken to and petting her while she enjoys her meals is also a great way to bond with her. She learned to trust through mimicking the friendlier, bolder fosters kittens in her foster home so having a fuzzy, friendly friend would be great for her. She lived in an energetic home with young children and other kittens. Although she’s tiny in size her heart is waiting for huge doses of love in her forever home. She is ready and now willing to bond with her forever humans as their love bug.
