This is Brody!
Meet Brody! He is 8 months old and is a Maltese/Shih Tzu mix. Yes, he is 100% absolutely adorable, but he is definitely a project puppy! Brody was never given any training or shown any boundaries in his previous home and will need a patient family to help teach him how to be a model canine citizen. He needs help with his housebreaking; we have started working on basic commands and he is slowly learning what a leash and collar are. He LOVES people, but has no social graces when it comes to meeting other dogs (he is so overstimulated) which will need work as well. An experienced home, dedicated to providing him with a routine and consistent boundaries is what this energetic, 4-legged puffball needs to be set up for success! Brody is looking for a local Connecticut home were he will not be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. He may do well living with a similarly sized, calm, confident dog, pending introductions. Brody would do well in an adult home or one with older children (over 10 years of age). For more information about Brody, please contact Stacey at stacey.doan@poainc.org.
