“Life is about change, sometimes it's painful, sometimes it's beautiful, but most of the time it's both.” ~Smallville
Molly has seen a lot of changes for a young cat. Abandoned outside as a kitten, Molly was found by a homeless man. He shared what little he had with Molly. He adored her and she loved him right back. But he wanted to make sure that Molly had the home and safety that he could not offer. So he got Molly to a shelter and then to us.
Molly was shy but sweet, and awfully cute. She was soon adopted. For several years her life was peaceful and good. She was loved and loved her adopter. Then her person’s life changed. It was not a fit for Molly. Homeless again, Molly is back at Protectors of Animals.
Molly misses her home and her person. She is nervous at the shelter. But she is being brave. She tries not to hide. She enjoys petting and quiet voices. She looks for reassurance. We have promised Molly that her next change- to her forever home- will be beautiful.
Maybe you are looking for a quiet, loyal companion. Maybe you have gone through some painful changes yourself. Maybe you know what it is like to feel abandoned, but also what it is like to feel adored. Maybe you know what it is like to need a little reassurance. Maybe you are ready for a beautiful change.
If so, maybe you should come in and meet Molly.
