Meet Cedric!
Sweet Cedric is looking for his furever home - could that be yours? Cedric is an 11 year old German Shepherd who was found as a stray on the streets. He was dirty, undernourished/underweight, and had painful ear infections. His path to healing started with the kindness of local Animal Control and has continued in our care. Cedric has been gaining weight very nicely (boy does this guy love to eat!) - he has gained 10lbs, but has another 10-15lbs to gain. Please note, Cedric's pictures are quite deceiving as to his size - he is a big boy and currently weighs 74lbs, however, he has a large frame and will likely fill out to close to 90lbs once he has gained back all of his weight. He loves to be brushed and his coat continues to become more glorious. His ears are improving and he is super patient with his treatments. Cedric has arthritis in his hips and needs daily medication to keep him comfortable, but that does not stop him from moving! He adores playing fetch and his motto is "TENNIS BALL IS LIFE." Tennis balls are his favorite thing in the world and he can always be found with one or two constantly with him. Cedric is dog friendly and really wants to play (he is not just a chill, senior, "I just want a canine roommate," kind of guy - he would love a playful buddy, although he is quite perfectly happy as an only dog in his foster home).
