Oreo – Special Appointment Needed

Oreo is a very kind and loving cat. She is about one year old.  She was found as a friendly outdoor stray.  She wants nothing more than a good window to look out of, and somebody to keep her company. She is very affectionate towards people, and has been equally affectionate toward our elementary and middle school-aged kids. She even tolerates my son's drum set noise!

Oreo sometimes likes to play a little bit, but what she really wants to do is follow you around the house, rub against your legs, and get scratched behind her ears. She loves a warm and fuzzy cat bed, especially if it is placed in an area that you sit in often so she can just sit next to you and sleep in your presence. She has a very sweet little meow voice, and sometimes gives soft kisses on your hand.  Her affinity for people cannot be overstated!

She is a bit less tolerant of other cats, particularly if they are aggressive or too nosy toward her- she becomes scared, hisses and runs to hide. She is fine with cats that maintain their own personal space.  She might be best as the only cat in the family, but she would also tolerate calm/older cats as well.  Her foster home has three cats, two older calm cats that she tolerates, and one very nosy younger cat that she is not fond of.  She has not been around dogs.
