We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.
Seven month old Mario is a perfect cross between the Velveteen Rabbit and the Energizer Bunny.
By this we mean that he looks a little mussed and shabby, despite his extravagant whiskers, as though he is a slightly worn stuffed animal who has become real though the power of love. And like the Velveteen Rabbit or your favorite teddy bear, Mario is happy to be held and cuddled. But like the Energizer Bunny, Mario is also a high energy fun machine who needs to gallop and bounce, to climb and and wrestle. He is "real" after all, and just out of kittenhood, and he wants to explore and have adventures.
Mario has been perfect with people and with other cats who share his energy level. He would love a playmate- either another joyful kitten or young cat or a boy or girl to call his own. We cannot conceive of why this handsome charmer ended up abandoned outside, but Mario has quickly become a volunteer favorite, and we expect that he will be adopted quickly.
