Introducing Missy!

Meet Missy! She is a 7 month old Shih Tzu/Yorkshire Terrier mix. This poor little bits came to us after not gaining weight or thriving in her home for months and months. We have done medical testing and outside of anemia, this little peanut is thriving now in a foster home (more testing is pending). She is gaining weight so quickly and perking up so fast - our veterinary partners feel that this was a malnutrition case. Missy is an active, fun loving puppy that will excel getting out in the world (she cannot at the moment while we wait for her weight to stabilize to be able to receive her first vaccinations).

Missy is not a confident fan of other dogs currently (she has never been socialized), so we are seeking an only pet home at this moment - unless you have previously successfully integrated a fearful puppy into your home with other pups). As a puppy with proper slow introductions through multiple doggy meet and greets or doggy daycare, she will most likely become the belle of the ball with canine friends! Missy will do well with older children 10 years and older (foster tested and approved!).
