Meet Elmer!

Hi I’m Elmer,  a 9-year-old lab/hound mix with a big smile and an even bigger heart. 💛 I’ve been told I’m a volunteer favorite (I think it’s because of my sunny personality and how much I love being around people!). One of them even calls me a ‘handsome fella’.

I’m a pretty easygoing guy. Honestly, I’m happiest just being by your side. Want to go for a walk? I’ve got great leash manners and would love to be your walking buddy. Prefer to relax? Even better—I’m a pro at soaking up the sunshine and taking cozy naps nearby. I’ll let you in on a little secret… I don’t need much to be happy. A calm home, a comfy spot to rest, and someone to love me. That’s all I’ve been dreaming about.

I do prefer to be your one and only pet. I just feel most relaxed when I don’t have to share my space, and I promise I’ll give you all my love in return.

I may be a senior, but that just means my heart is extra full and ready to give. I’ve been waiting patiently for someone to see how special I am … could that someone be you?
