We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.
Seven-month-old Chuck is stealing hearts and causing havoc in the cat room. Winning hearts because he is sweet and funny and absolutely adorable. He is a true volunteer favorite. Causing havoc because he is an energizer bunny of a katten (what we call that awkward age between kitten and cat).
Chuck sprints around the room. He yells if you keep him in his condo when he wants to be out playing. He leaps over the other cats napping in the middle of the room if that is the fastest way to get to the toy.
Chuck is going to break things. He is going to attempt to scale your kitchen cabinets. He is going to have the zoomies at three in the morning. He is likely to be too much for many older or grumpy cats. Chuck is a lot.
But Chuck is also a lot in ways that will make him a wonderful choice for the right home. Chuck loves everything and everyone. He is affectionate and confident and openhearted. Chuck is completely certain of his welcome (even if he is sometimes wrong.) Most importantly, Chuck thinks everything is great fun and Chuck behaves as if it is his job to make sure that you have fun too. With him around, we think you will. Probably a lot more fun.
So yes, Chuck will cause havoc. But we suspect that isn’t going to matter because he’s already stolen your heart.
