Jude - Protectors of Animals

We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters unless the adopter has an approved application and has already met the cat or kitten.

How do you feel about a gentle soul who does seem to carry the world upon his shoulders? How do you feel about a cat who absolutely longs for love, but waits for you to make the first move? How do you feel about a cat with eyes that ask you if you are going to leave?

Because if that is the type of cat that speaks to you, you should definitely meet one year-old Jude. Jude was found as a stray so we don’t know his backstory. What we do know is that Jude is very chill and doesn’t seem to have any idea that he is larger than a lot of of the cats. If a tiny cat challenges him, Jude steps back. He either goes to his favorite cat tree and hunkers underneath it or goes to a quiet spot in the bathroom to sleep on the towels. This is not a guy who likes confrontation.

But if it’s quiet, Jude would love your company. Petting. Snuggling a bit. Catnip. Or to our surprise- playing. Watching Jude play with complete abandon, running in circles and leaping with joy, is something so pure that we have a hard time describing it. Watching him forget himself is something that you would need to see for yourself.
