We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters unless the adopter has an approved application and has already met the cat or kitten.
I’ll let you be in my dreams if I can be in yours”
~Bob Dylan
The best songs speak directly to our hearts. They bring us connection or comfort. They make us remember what is possible.
One year old Lyric may not be able to sing (although she may try), but her eyes will speak directly to your heart. She dreams of connection. She offers and accepts comfort. And after being abandoned outside, she’s trying her hardest to remember what is possible.
Lyric adores people. She may kiss you on your nose. She may sit in your lap. She will definitely allow you to carry her around.
But Lyric hates cats. When they are around, she is agitated. She growls and hisses. We aren’t sure what happened to her when she was outside, but whatever it was, it has left her with a strong desire to live a cat free existence. That isn’t possible at the Shelter. And as a result, she spends far too much time in her condo.
This is a girl who wants and needs a home. She promises to be as perfect as a young cat can be- which means a little mischief and a lot of love. She’s already dreaming of you. Will you let her into your dreams?
