Buddy

Buddy had a home once. He was clearly loved once. We don’t know what happened that led his people to abandon him in a box in someone’s yard. Luckily, those people stepped up and got him safe and then to us.

Buddy has been with us for a few weeks now. He is confident and funny. When he plays, he tends to jump straight up in the air with his legs, splayed out like a cartoon cat that has been startled. He loves to play. But he also loves to just hang out in the middle of the room watching everything. Sometimes he will follow you around just to see if you’re going to do anything interesting. (Note- Buddy does not count paperwork as “anything interesting”. ) Then he may suddenly race away as though he has just remembered that he’s late for an important appointment.

Buddy is affectionate with people. He has been good with the respectful cats he has met at the Shelter. Like many cats, however, he does not like a super pushy cat who won’t respect his space. (We can relate.)

And Buddy has the most beautiful green eyes. We swear he can look into your soul. As we said at the start of this post, Buddy is inviting you to come meet him (and the other available cats) at adult cat adoption hours this Thursday. Look into those eyes and tell him no. We dare you.
