Two-year-old Polly is someone who had to mature before she was ready. Though young herself, Polly has already been a momma, likely caring for her kittens during a time when she could have benefited from finding her own footing in the world. Polly, though sweet and beautiful, is uncertain and lacks confidence. At the shelter, she's not quite sure what she wants. To be in or out of her condo. To visit other cats or keep to herself. She likes to have options available so she can alter her plans. For example, a condo door left open so she can come and go at will suits Polly perfectly.
Polly would likely be happiest as an only cat where she gets to make all the choices, but she has also been fine with a respectful cat, who gives her the space and time to decide what she wants. Polly will need an adopter who will help build her confidence and who will be accepting when Polly wants to be indecisive. And though we are sure that with the right person, Polly will blossom, she may always be someone who likes to have an array of choices so she can change her mind at a moment's notice. Because variety is the spice of life!
