Sarah Kopac
Sarah first learned about POA in 2009 when adopting a sassy calico and found her next cat (a sassy tabby) from the amazing POA cat shelter. The third cat would come from a shelter in Utah. (Lesson learned- never volunteer at a shelter where you might fall in love and have to fly the cat home.) Sarah lives in Portland and loves the walk to Middletown over the bridge, where she watches for birds of prey. She is a strong proponent of mental health and draws on her background as a Ph.D. in biology in her work as an individual/couples therapist. She and her spouse, Craig, have a tradition of visiting cat cafes whenever they travel. If you don’t see her at the local coffee roasters, Sarah's probably shamelessly “acting her age” birdwatching at the Portland reservoir or in session.
