THey ya'll! Have no fear, Niko is here! I am a 7 year old Maltese/Poodle mix and I am looking for my furever home - could that be yours? Tipping the scale at only 8lbs, I'm a wee little one, but I have the heart of a lion and personality that fills a room! Friendly is my middle name - I LOVE people and attention, and I think that other dogs are pretty cool too (similarly sized pups only please, I don't want to get squashed!). An adult only home would be super - I've never been around kids and I think they might make me nervous. I am piddle pad trained and am learning that the vast outdoors is an amazing bathroom too! I do have some special needs (I have allergies and need to be on medication and a special diet - the nice people at the rescue are also helping arrange for me to have a much needed knee surgery - I will be Superman and invincible after that)!
