Meet Sparky!

Meet Sparky! He is a 14 years young Lhasa Apso - don't let his age fool you, he has quite the zest for life! It's difficult to get pictures of him since he is a busy boy, not wanting to miss out on anything! Sparky unfortunately had an eye condition that was not appropriately treated over many years and he went blind some time in the past. His eyes caused him a significant amount of daily pain though, so when he came to our rescue, he had surgery to remove them both. He now is so much happier and more comfortable! Sparky does not have the best hearing either, but he navigates around like nobody's business. He gets along with a calm dog in his foster home (he is a canine companion, not a playmate) and does not mind the company of cats.
