Dean Martin

This is Dean Martin! He is a 2 year old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and weighs almost 15lbs (although somewhere in his family tree, there must have been some Labrador Retriever!). He also has the cutest, bobbed tail! This sweet boy came to us from a hoarding situation with many other dogs. He was completely under-socialized, very scared, and shy. Dean has quickly been learning the routine at the shelter and has been coming out of his shell. He is a fun, high energy boy who loves to run, run, run!. He has also proved that he can be an affectionate little guy who loves pets and praise. Dean will need a family committed to his continued socialization and who will provide him with opportunities for lots of positive experiences out in the world! Dean's new home should have a playful, confident dog or two to help show him the ropes and to help drain his energy - he LOVES to play with other dogs.
