Cinder - Protectors of Animals

We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.

Cinder is named for her fiery personality, we originally called her “little miss hiss”. Truth was that Cinder was scared and putting on a tough front. With time, patience, and a lot of treats, we’ve been lucky enough to see who Cinder really is.

Cinder loves blankets. Blankets are never in where you left them, but rather on the other side of the room with Cinder sleeping on top of the pile. Or occasionally, you’ll find her underneath the blanket pile. If you’re taking a nap, she may sneak under the covers to join you. Or steal the covers and take them for her own blanket fort.

One thing guaranteed to draw Cinder out of her shell is string. All her fears are forgotten when there is an evil string to attack!

Cinder would likely appreciate a quieter home, with a family who understands her need to build a relationship slowly. She’s an introvert at heart, and takes time to adjust to new situations.
