Name: Shaggy
Age: 3 months
Breed: DSH
Sex: Male
Three-month-old Shaggy originally decided he would live up to his namesake when he first came in. He was quite scared and took to hiding under objects and running away from people in his foster home. However if you just offer him a treat, he will come right back out and be your friend. In fact Shaggy can easily feel left out if others are playing and will poke his head out to investigate the source of fun.
After a week of settling into his foster home Shaggy turned a corner and came out to show everyone his goofy side. He loves playing with other kitties (he constantly follows his big foster brother around!) and people and often falls asleep in the toy box surrounded by his favorite things. He gets a little nervous when his foster family reaches for him but once the petting starts so does the purring and Shaggy is happy as can be. He loves to walk across laps, wrestle with his sister Velma, and eat his foster mom’s hair when she’s not looking. Shaggy would do wonderfully with a family who is patient to letting him open up and show how fun and loving he can be.
