We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats.  You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.  Captain Jack will be meeting adopters on Saturday 8/17.
Captain Jack is one of three “pirate” kittens. This 3 month old male was found under a porch with his siblings and took a few weeks to get accustomed to being around people. Much like his namesake in that popular movie franchise, he is a dash of daring, a dash of charisma, and a whole lot of fun! He was the first of his siblings to explore his new surroundings and the first to realize that humans were pretty awesome. He loves to be in the middle of the action once he determines that you are a safe person.

His tabby patterned coat is marked by white “boots” on each paw and he usually has a devil-may-care expression on his face.  However, unlike his commitment-phobic namesake, he loves to be petted, held, and played with. His favorite toys are interactive wand toys, stuffed mice, floor scratching pads, and a low-budget cardboard box with holes in it for him to play hide-and-seek.

He would be great in a home with other active pets, or one of his siblings, and with people who want to indulge his desire to “help” while you are on the computer, reading a book, eating breakfast, or just hanging around.
