Tonight the super Cooper lights are gonna find me
Shining like the sun
Smiling, having fun
Feeling like a number one.

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s . . . Super Cooper!

In case you didn’t pick up on it, Cooper thinks he’s a pretty super cat. As it happens, he’s right. Not only is he gorgeous, but Cooper is chock-full of purrsonality.
For example, Cooper loves to play. We mean, he *really* loves to play. As soon as we open the door to his condo, Cooper is out and about, looking for his wand toy or anything else he can bat around. If you enjoy playing with your cats, three-year-old Cooper may be just the cat for you.
With his buff-and-white fur and big golden-brown eyes, there’s no question that Cooper is a handsome boy. Cooper also enjoys being petted as long as it’s on his terms. What we mean by that is that sometimes he’s in the mood for lots of petting, and other times his preference is for a shorter session. When he’s done being stroked, he makes his feelings known; if the person fussing over him doesn’t pay attention to his signals, he can sometimes get a bit mouthy. While this behavior is easily stopped with the word “gentle,” Cooper would probably do better in a home with an experienced adopter who can understand his signals.
On the other hand, Cooper is what we call “food motivated,” which translates to “will do practically anything for a treat.” This may hark back to his days on the street as a stray when food was probably hard to come by, or he may simply be a cat who likes his treats. Either way, if you’re looking for a pal to join you in a late-night snack, you and Cooper may be a good match.
If you would like to meet Cooper, please fill out the application (link in comments). Our placement team will be in touch via email to answer any questions, walk you through our process, and give you an appointment to meet all the available cats. If you aren’t in a position to adopt at this time, or if Cooper isn’t the right match for you, you can still help by spreading the word so that this super kitty can find his perfect home.
