Name: Dancer
Age: 3 months
Breed: DMH
Sex: Female
Dancer is not named Dancer for her cautious moves and creative ways, and she isn’t light on her feet! Dancer was given the name as one of Santa’s commanding reindeer! She and her brothers arrived in their foster home after being rescued, shortly before Christmas. Good thing they were not a Christmas morning surprise because by Christmas morning it was a singing chorus of kittens at their foster room door every single morning! While their foster mom will miss the chatter, she knows Dancer deserves a forever home and forever family who will want to see her dance to her highest potential!
Dancer is a bit smaller and lighter than her brothers but she is still a force… and is just as curious, if not more so than her brothers. When it’s time for meals, she wants to plays. She races right out of her foster room. Her brothers sniff out their foster mom and return to a fresh plate of wet food, but Dancer needs to be reminded to eat, often carried to the plate, and told she needs to eat too! All bets are off when she’s given a squeeze up treat, no reminders are needed, she’s ready to snack!
She currently lives in a foster home with a young cat always eager to play or watch the adorable antics of a kitten. But she also lives in a home with two senior cats who aren’t big fans of kittens, yet remain mostly respectful. Dancer has heard the grumbles and hisses (a normal initial response to first meeting) and still insists on getting in everyone’s faces with a “Hello!”whenever she’s out of her foster room! While she hasn’t met dogs, she will certainly adapt well in any home with other cats. She would love to go to a home with her brothers, but is independent and brave and will settle in where she is loved. Her coat is unique yet hard to photograph. She has some little spots of light brown almost orange as if there is an orange cat somewhere in the reindeer family tree!
