Ophelia – The Only Girl with Big Opinions and an Even Bigger Meow
Ophelia is a 4-month-old domestic short hair kitten and the sole girl in the “Little O’s” crew—meaning she’s been managing four rowdy brothers (Odin, Othello, Owen, and Ozzy) since day one. It’s a full-time job, and she takes it very seriously… with frequent breaks for cuddling and snacks.
Like her siblings, Ophelia is part of the legendary cuddle pile system. When the foster mom leans back in her chair, all five kittens attempt to stack themselves into a single purring heap. Ophelia participates, but she definitely prefers a strategic position—usually right on top of foster mom’s chest, where she can supervise her brothers’ nonsense from a safe, elevated seat.
She is both affectionate and slightly dramatic. Ophelia loves to wrestle and chase her brothers, but she also believes in fair play enforcement. If playtime gets too enthusiastic, she will absolutely announce it—sometimes even preemptively, just in case anyone was thinking about being too energetic near her.
Her other great love in life is food, specifically her favorite treat: a Blue Buffalo purée pouch. She doesn’t ask for it politely—she demands it. Loudly. With confidence. And honestly, it works.
When she’s not supervising chaos or requesting snacks, Ophelia is a sweet cuddle companion who purrs happily while watching her brothers wrestle like tiny professional wrestlers in training.
Ophelia would thrive in a home with a playful feline friend—ideally one of her siblings or another young cat who understands that she is both cuddle queen and part-time drama department.
Initially, they were not fond of the Friskies pate. They finally started eating with Friskies shreds (chicken or Turkey and giblets) and fancy feast grilled chicken or turkey. Now they enjoy Friskies pate, poultry platter or turkey and giblets.
