Dainty is perhaps the best word to describe one year-old Sheena, although darling runs a close second.
Sheena is undeniably beautiful, with a coat made up of creams, caramels, and wispy grey clouds. Looking at her, you might feel like she is the kind of cat that sits curled up on a soft pillow, waiting to be admired. But Sheena loves to play and is actually a little bit of a clown.
Sheena pounces on toys and tears across the room, looking like she’s on an important mission. But when she gets to the other side of the room, she is likely to turn around and run back seeking reassurance and safety. When she does, she heads for the hidey- hole in her favorite cat tree. She will peep out nervously at first. But in a few moments Sheena will be hanging halfway out of the tree, upside down, practicing her Cirque du Soleil moves. If she tumbles out, she will try to convince you that that was intentional.
Right now, Sheena is figuring out her place in the world. When she does, she’s going to be a force to be reckoned with. But she will be a sweet, silly, affectionate force. And if you have read this far, we hope that you think that Sheena‘s place in the world is right next to you.
