We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.
Meet one year old Amam! Amam started her stay in her foster home very pregnant with four kittens who she raised to be four very lovable yet mischievous little fur balls. They have all found their forever home. Now it’s her turn!
Friendly and affectionate, Amam (yes “mama” backwards) loves to weave in and out of legs and give headbutts. Having a goofy side, she always would try to squeeze through spaces that were not meant for a full grown cat knocking everything over, just to get a good look out a window (a favorite pastime of hers). Curious and wanting to socialize, Amam (after nursing and putting her babies down for naps) would somehow figure out how to open the foster room door for a solo adventure. The foster family would come home shocked to find her sitting by the back door waiting for them along with the permanent feline residents of the foster home. Over a dozen escapes were logged. She was the first cat out of over a hundred that figured out the mechanics of the door!
Amam is very vocal and is always chirping or chattering away to anyone who will listen. Amam has a great deal of trust in humans and loves to be around people all the time. She is used to the company of lots of kids and a hustling and bustling environment. She’s so ready for her forever home!
