Amara - Protectors of Animals

We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.

Amara is a sweet and loving young mother cat, who has devotedly raised her six healthy kittens and is now ready for a home of her own. She was found in Hartford very pregnant by kind, concerned people who cared for her while she waited for a foster home. She made it to one just 4 days before her kittens arrived. Despite being in an unfamiliar environment with unfamiliar people, she knew she was safe and loved. She allowed her fosters to be present for the birth, pet her reassuringly throughout the labor, and observe that everything went smoothly.

This beautiful mama cat is not just a caregiver but also a sweet and affectionate companion. Everyone who meets her completely falls in love with her charming personality. She enjoys petting, brushing, and cuddling sessions. She also enjoys batting at wand toys and wrestling with little stuffed toys. Amara will thrive in a quieter home where she can receive plenty of affection and attention.

Amara is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations, ensuring she is ready to embark on her new life with you! She has given so much love and care to her kittens and is now eagerly awaiting the chance to be cherished in return.
