We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.
Ava is very typical of many cats who come into the shelter - curious, watchful, and a little afraid. She is spending a lot of time on her upper bunk, observing the goings on around her. However, we have noticed a few chinks in her protective armor: she is quite fond of a string toy and a good old fashioned pet.
And when one year old Ava is happy, her adorable little chirp, combined with her oh so serious expression, is enough to melt the stoniest heart. We are betting that as she feels more comfortable, Ava’s sweetness will be evident, and she will make someone a wonderful best friend.
