Nine month old Chloe is a buoyant sprite of a cat. She loves every person, immediately and with her whole heart. Walk up to her and she is already purring. Pet her and she will begin to push her face into your hand; a hand that suddenly looks gigantic next to her tiny head.
Chloe is elfin. Chloe is joyful. Chloe is equal parts innocence and mischief. Just out of kittenhood, she retains all of the coltish charm of a kitten, but with the bonus of knowing who she will be as an adult cat. To say that we are enamored with this little one would be putting it lightly.
Which is why it is so surprising to learn that Chloe has already been a mom. She came into Protectors of Animals with her three kittens, born when she was less than five months old, because their person could not afford to care for them. Chloe was reportedly a very good mother to her kittens despite her young age. But it seems clear that she is happy to leave those days behind her.
Now spayed, and with her kittens safely in a foster home, Chloe is ready to embrace what comes next. She hopes that what comes next involves a ton of petting, some rambunctious play, and all of the kitten antics she didn’t really get a chance to finish.
Responsibility be damned, Chloe is a teenager and is ready to act like one. But Chloe will be the best kind of teenager. Full of affection and cuddles, with no sullen attitude or crazy drama. And while you may still occasionally get woken in the middle of the night, it will be because she wants to curl up next to you, and not because she needs a ride home.
