Hades - Protectors of Animals

We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters. This kitten will be meeting adopters on 4/18. All of our kitten appointments are booked for 4/18. We are booking kitten appointments for 4/25 at this time.

Meet the god kittens! While it may be extravagant to call kittens gods, let us tell you more about them. These handsome youngsters came to POA within hours of being born. Their mother, Rhea, came from a hoarding situation and was surrendered with her kittens shortly after giving birth. She was given the name Rhea, known as the mother of gods in Greek mythology - now you see where we’re going with this? Rhea proved to be the absolute sweetest girl and a fantastic mother. She absolutely passed some of that sweetness on to her kittens! She also gave her babies each of her colors :).

These boys were raised in foster and are well socialized. They are used to being around older school aged children and LOVE to play, particularly with your fingers and toes!! They may do best either being adopted with another kitten to play with or to a home where they can play with other fur siblings.

Poseidon (aka Donny, Don Don) - orange- is chill guy, happy as can be hanging out with you and playing. He runs to the door to greet you and will often ask for uppies. He is every bit the stereotypical ginger boy, full of love, affection, and curiosity, mixed with a fair bit of silliness…and maybe lacking a brain cell or 2 ;). He is a tad bit possessive of his toys and makes some funny kitten growls when playing with something new.

All of these boys love to chase pretty much all the mouse and wand toys. They are enthusiastic bed makers, skilled laser chasers, and the best buddies to watch a show with after a long day. They eat both wet and dry food. They are fully litter box trained and, once getting the hang of it, haven’t had any accidents.

They are polite with their cat foster sisters and would likely do well with other fur siblings after proper introductions. They are still learning their manners and will need so guidance on what’s a chew toy and what’s not (pro tip: be sure to offer them a nice squishy toy instead of your fingers or hands!)

These kittens are pretty awesome and guaranteed to win you over. They are full of sweetness, love, and kitten energy. They will make purrfect additions to your home and can’t wait to meet you!
