Name: Jameson
Age: 3 years
Breed: DSH

We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.
Jameson whiskey can be described as smooth and clean, with sweet and nutty notes. Others describe it as well-balanced, with hints of spiciness. Jameson Original is aged for at least three years, but Jameson can also be aged up to eighteen to twenty one years in oak barrels.
Given all of this, we think that our Jameson is well named. First of all, he is a perfectly aged three years old. And while we would not recommend placing him in an oak barrel, we certainly hope that this healthy boy will be around for 18 to 21 years!
Jameson is undoubtedly smooth (his eyes alone are swoonworthy), but he can definitely be nutty and even goofy at times. He is also shown himself to be very sweet, even climbing into laps of his favorite volunteers, but has a peppery spiciness about certain things. What things? Well, Jameson doesn’t like to have his tail touched or pulled. (I mean, who does?) And he hasn’t seemed to be a fan of most other cats, at least not at the shelter.
Jameson is friendly, confident, and well balanced. He is a striking house panther, and would be a great match for anyone who is a connoisseur of the finer things in life. But whether you like to spend your evening with a rocks glass of the finest whiskey or a red solo cup full of Diet Coke, we think our Jameson will be the perfect companion.
To find out more or to make an appointment to meet the available cats, please start by filling out the application on our website. Our placement team will be in touch by email to answer your questions, tell you about our adoption process, and make you an appointment to meet the cats. And if you aren’t in a place to adopt right now or if Jameson isn’t a great fit for your home, you can still help by spreading the word about him.
Adoptions are now done by appointment only. Email poaplacement@gmail.com for more info and an appointment. Adopters must have an approved application before scheduling an appointment.
