Maple

Miss Maple Mae, as she is affectionately called by her foster mom, is certainly sweet with a little bit of spice. We could easily compare her to hot honey; sweet, bold, with a little bit of a kick to keep things interesting.

Maple is a confident, talkative cat who will demand your attention. She purrs loudly and demands full body pets. However, if you dare to turn your back, you may get a swat. Not enough to hurt, just enough to let you understand that you should be appreciative to be in the presence of royalty and you should be doting appropriately. Maple loves to play with shiny crinkly toys of all kinds and loves a good wand toy. She is sleek and athletic and requires mental stimulation. She will require appropriate scratching materials in her new home. She has a loud deep "Siamese" sounding meow and will cry for attention.

 Maple was a stray and the neighborhood kids as young as age 6 adored her. She tolerated being picked up, held, and pet but the kids did note that she would swat and give a love nip when she had enough. For that reason, older children or adults only would be the best fit for Maple. Maple is a confident cat who is unafraid of the large dog in her foster home. Life on the streets taught her to put on a brave face and not back down if challenged. Maple is looking for a home where she can be the Queen and served as she so rightly deserves.
