Merlin

A gray-haired fellow who likes to be held and enjoys laps, Merlin is happy to just be near his humans. He has greeted strangers in his foster room, and is unfazed by the younger resident cats who occasionally loiter outside his door. He’s so “zen” that you might think the little pills he’s on twice a day are chill pills, but they’re actually just a thyroid med which he takes like an absolute champ. His foster mom had precisely zero cat-pilling experience and Merlin has made it easy. In fact, Merlin does his best to make everything easy.

Ten-year-old Merlin didn’t thrive in the shelter; there was a bit too much action, and let’s face it-there’s no room in a cat cubicle for a cushy loveseat. The shelter environment made him a little nervous, but he has shown himself to be a perfect, loving companion in a home. And while he is doing great in his foster home, we would like to get him a home of his very own.
