Nyx

Four-month-old Nyx is a sweet but cautious girl who is learning to open her heart to people.  She originally came into her foster home terrified and untrusting of humans.  Instead of just hiding she would hiss at people to protect herself and her litter mates.  After spending more time with people she finally came to the conclusion that they were not in fact going to eat her or her siblings and she started to relax.  In fact Nyx realized she loves playing with wand toys and will crawl right into a lap for a squeeze up treat.  Nyx will also tell you she’s ready to play by walking over to her favorite toy to sit by it and make eye contact with you.  She’s learning pets are really great and will purr and close her eyes when receiving them.  She’s even curled up in a lap for it!  Nyx loves her siblings dearly and would like to go home with one of them.  (Check out Orion and Peanut Butter Monkey!) Once she decides you can be trusted Nyx will love you deeply and show her truly sweet side.
