Name: Pepper
Age: 10 months
Breed: DSH
Sex: Female
We are scheduling appointments for adopters to come in and meet our available cats. You do not need to choose a specific cat and we are not placing cats on hold for specific adopters.
She doesn’t walk like a lady. She bounces like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh with all the subtlety of a bad check. And she may not be a member of Miss Manners etiquette club, but she is definitely a member of the clean plate club. She’s Pepper, a catten (not a kitten anymore but not yet a grown cat). She’s silly and rambunctious. She makes friends easily because she loves people and she boldly introduces herself to other cats, like it or not. Some cats are ok with a catten putting her face in their face, and some not so much. She doesn’t care. She’s completely oblivious to their displeasure and continues on with her happy face and tail straight up in the air, and that unmistakable bounce in her step.

If her outgoing purr-sonality doesn’t capture your heart, maybe you’ll be attracted to her big curious amber eyes that are always looking for something new to explore. Or maybe you’ll find her silky black coat to be an elegant fashion statement. Ok, there’s nothing “elegant” about her yet, but maybe when she outgrows that overly perky youthful state of mind, maybe, just maybe, she’ll be the definition of refinement. Hmmm, probably not.
To find out more or to make an appointment to meet the available cats and kittens, please start by filling out the application on our website. Our placement team will be in touch by email to answer your questions, tell you about the adoption process, and make you an appointment. And as always, if you are not looking to adopt right now, you can still help by spreading the word about Pepper.
Adoptions are now done by appointment only. Email [email protected] for more info and an appointment. Adopters must have an approved application before scheduling an appointment.
